What do you think?

What's your opinion on The Host? I personally think that, as a science-fiction piece, it falls short. WAY short. As a thriller, it's doing......OK, I suppose. As a book itself, I like it, but after reading the whole Twilight series, the whole First-Person bit is starting to annoy me.

I really liked it actually.
Then again, I don't read science fiction usually so I wouldn't know what it's supposed to be like.
The 1st person gives it a little change because most books are from 3rd. So I kind of like it.

Alright, so I just now finished it, and it was alright. It was still by no means a science-fiction novel, and I thought it became extremely immature in some areas (Involving Jared), but all in all it was an O.K. read.

I really liked it, but it took me a while to understand it. I think it would have been cool if She had started from right when the world was being invaieded. But oh, well. I still hope she ccomes out with more.
Has any one heared if she is?

I've just started the Host. Like my first major opinion on it was "WTH! Jared? It's like a not hot Edward. Girls in these books gotta' stop falling in l♥ve so easy!"

I finnished reading it a couple of days, and I loved it. I was a little confused as to what was going on at first but once i got into the story i couldn't put it down. Stephanie Myer should write some more books. I even wouldn't mind if they made a movie on the host. it would be cool to see it in motion. course they may ruin the story if they made a movie so i'm ok if they don't make a movie.

Or, I was until I was reminded by this thread that a main character's name is Jared, which is also my boyfriend's name. That might get awkward lol. Yeah, I know I'm weird.
